EASA has certified the airworthiness of OnAir's inflight systems.

OnAir's services are 'tried and tested' and do not represent a health or safety risk to either passengers or crew members.
EASA, the European Aviation Safety Authority, has approved OnAir's inflight communication systems for both short- and long-range aircraft, confirming that they can be operated safely on aircraft.
In April 2008, OnAir worked with an independent expert organisation to conduct a series of tests on two commercial flights. Measurements of in-cabin emissions showed them to be at less than 1% of the limits endorsed by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for electromagnetic radiation. Consequently, a passenger or crew member onboard a Mobile OnAir-equipped aircraft is exposed to significantly less electromagnetic radiation than in a normal outdoor or indoor ground mobile phone environment.
